PGH Fiber Friends is celebrating WWKIP Day!
That’s “Worldwide Knit in Public” Day and it’s the best day of the year! Join us on the Northshore for a fun day of knitting in public. We’ll be gathering to knit at the Water Steps feature right along the river, with a beautiful city view in the background! This is an area where lots of people gather, so be ready to take PRIDE in your knitting!
I will be bringing snacks, water, and some kind of fizzy beverages for everyone, but please feel free to bring something for the group as well! I’ll set up a picnic blanket for us, but you can also feel free to bring a camping chair, or sit near the water steps and enjoy the water.
We’ll be hanging out from 4PM until about 7 or 8PM, so feel free to drop by anytime and knit with us! This day is all about being proud to be a knitter and sharing the joy of knitting with the world, so please join us for the celebration!
