[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Today I want to show you guys a super simple crochet scarf I made that looks great and won’t take up a lot of your time! I call this a circle scarf as opposed to a infinity scarf because it doesn’t twist and wrap, it’s literally just a small circle. This scarf took me ~10 hours to complete over the coarse of 3 days. I just worked on it a bit every night while I watched TV. Completion time will obviously vary depending on how fast you work and how experienced you are.
Here’s my finished crochet scarf:

I completed this scarf using the Snapdragon Stitch which is a series of shells and double crochets. Any shell stitch is great for beginners because they build quickly and crochets are usually done in a large hole in the work. The snapdragon stitch is done with a chain in multiples of 8 + 5 chains at the end. So, for example, you could do a chain of 29 and start your work in the 5th chain from the hook (chain #24). I did a chain of 45 for my scarf.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1194″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” img_link_large=”yes”][vc_column_text]Working with a starting chain of 45, I did 57 rows of the snapdragon stitch. Once I got to the end, I joined the ends of the scarf into a circle. Ta-da! I now have a mini circle scarf! It’s longer than a standard neck warmer so it hangs down like an infinity scarf, but it’s not as bulky as one. This is great for these chilly days at the beginning of the fall season, or when it’s just getting warm after February. Feel free to follow my instructions on this post to make yourself a lacy infinity scarf.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
